CfD Stakeholder Bulletin — 20 April 2020
Summary
DESNZ announces three online webinars for the CfD Round 4 consultation between 30 April and 6 May 2020. Sessions separate established technologies (onshore wind, solar, hydro) from less-established ones (offshore wind, remote island wind, advanced conversion). The consultation closes 22 May 2020.
Why it matters
Administrative facilitation of the consultation process rather than substantive policy change. The technology separation suggests different proposals for each pot, maintaining the established/less-established distinction that favours offshore wind with separate competitive dynamics.
